A dry blend which increases alkalinity in recirculating aquatic ecosystems, as well as pH to a maximum value of 9.20. Formulation excludes phosphate- and hydroxide-based salts. 1 g per gallon (3.8 L) increases alkalinity by 12.65 dKH. May be paired with dry or liquid versions of Coral8 Yin and Coral8 DC, or employed as a stand-alone dry buffer blend to maintain carbonate-based alkalinity within the desired range.
